What People Are Saying

“It was impactful seeing the sticky notes from others and knowing how many people are struggling with rest.

As a member of a leadership team, it was also important for me to see how many people feel guilty about resting because I can be more intentional about modeling rest behavior.”

Collective Rest @ Work Client

"It was amazing being able to open up, be vulnerable and just be in this restful / restorative space with my peers — getting an hour in our work day to REST!

I had one of the best night's of sleep of my life that night, and I didn't wake up in the middle of the night for the first time in a while."

Collective Rest @ Work Client

“This was a very powerful experience, especially doing it collectively with other participants. A really excellent structure that allowed us to go deep in both mind and body.

Thank you for offering the intention for us each to "feel safe enough to slow down" in our work and lives!”

Rewriting Our Rest Stories

A 4-month group program for tired API women & femmes to break intergenerational cycles of exhaustion through rest

Select Offerings

  • Cassandra leads a rest practice for students lying on yoga mats in a large indoor facility. She is sitting in front of the gong and playing it.

    Community Rest Sessions

    Practice rest in community

I host monthly live Community Rest Sessions on Zoom. Each month we explore a different theme or facet of rest.

I offer these healing experiences for FREE out of recognition that the conditions to feel safe enough to rest are inequitably distributed under systemic oppression.

  • A woman smiling and raising her hand in a spacious, modern room with a yoga or meditation setup on the floor, consisting of mats, pillows, and blankets. There are large windows, white walls with shoe illustrations, and a sign that reads "Relax and Dream."

    Collective Rest @ Work

    Prioritize your team’s mental health

Embed rest into your work day to relieve stress, anxiety, and burnout while boosting creativity, focus, and collaboration.

I am also available to train values-aligned organizations and leaders who want to create sustainable workplaces that promote rest.

Suitable for corporate, non-profit, and community-based organizations.

  • A woman standing and giving a presentation in front of a group of diverse individuals seated at round tables in a modern conference room with large glass windows.

    1:1 Rest Mentorship

Reclaim the best of you from burnout

This offering is for people who want personalized support in waking up to their fullest potential in life, relationships, and work through rest.

Together, we’ll uncover the unconscious beliefs that are holding you back and burning you out so that you can live with self-trust, purpose, and empowerment.

“Collective Rest is a must for teams who are feeling the burnout and spin of WFH life. I have hosted Cassandra for two events, one with my APIDA affinity group (40 people) and another with my entire agency (500+ people).

Cassandra took the time to customize each workshop to our needs. She took deep and attentive care to our requests and delivered an enlightening and emotional experience. I cannot express my immense gratitude for Cassandra and her practice.”

“I attended the Collective Rest session for Grief in May and had a deeply introspective and impactful experience. I attended a few weeks after learning my mom passed away.

Since that session, I've told EVERYONE about it and had been looking out for a follow-up for it. I was just about to give up on it when I got the email for an upcoming session at work and couldn't click 'Accept' fast enough.

Thank you Cassandra, and the team who organized this experience. I am deeply appreciative and am hoping we get more of these in the future. They've definitely made a positive impact on my personal life, and work life.”

Collective Rest @ Work Participant

Hi, I’m Cassandra!

Cassandra has long dark hair and a septum piercing, is wearing a blue velvet top, and is sitting among lush green plants with sunlight casting a glow on her face.

I am a politicized somatic practitioner, liberatory rest educator, and community grief-tender guiding tired and trauma-impacted organizations and people to feel safe enough to slow down. My mission is to uplift rest as a portal to ancestral power, authentic leadership, and collaboration with the unseen realms which shape material reality.

I started Collective Rest to help people who want to take better care of their physical, mental, and emotional health through rest… but struggle to make the change.

Many of us feel ashamed that we’re “bad” at rest. We know we’re tired. We know that this isn’t sustainable. But we don’t know anything else… yet. This is where Collective Rest can help!

Since March 2021, my community-centered, trauma-informed, and body-based approach to rest has helped thousands of people to slow down and sleep better.
